What to expect

When you arrive at your Reiki healing session for the first time, you will sign a waiver. Then, the session begins while you are seated in a chair. Anne will ask if you have any intentions for the session and take notes.

Next, you remove your shoes and glasses to lie upon a soft massage table. Pillows are arranged for your comfort, and freshly laundered blankets are available. Soft, calming music plays.

Anne will begin with a prayer of gratitude and a brief energy clearing of your body. Next, Anne typically places her hands around your head and leads a guided meditation to surround you with a cocoon of loving Reiki energy, making you safe and protected. The rest of the session will involve Anne gently placing her hands on various parts of your body where Reiki energy is needed until the session ends.

Falling asleep during the session, crying, or even laughing is not unusual. Talking during the session and shifting to a more comfortable position is encouraged.

Policies

We understand that unexpected events can disrupt your plans.In our commitment to fairness and effectiveness for all our clients, we have established the following policies:

When canceling an appointment, 24 hours advance notice is required. This allows someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24hours advance notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid before your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows
Anyone who forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their“missed” appointment.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment.Regardless of the treatment length, you will be responsible for the “full”session. Out of respect and consideration for your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
