What to expect

When you arrive at your Reiki healing session for the first time you will sign a waver. Then the session begins while being seated in a chair. Anne will ask if you have any intentions for the session and take notes.

Next, you will remove your shoes and glasses, and lay down on a massage table. Pillows will be arranged to make you as comfortable as possible and a freshly laundered blanket will be available. Soft, calm music will play.

Anne will begin with a prayer of gratitude for the healing about to take place and brief energy clearing of your body.Next, Anne typically places her hands around your head and leads a guided meditation to surround you with a cocoon of loving Reiki energy- making you safe and protected. The rest of the session will involve Anne gently placing her hands on various parts of you body where Reiki energy is needed until the session ends.

It is not unusual to fall asleep during the session; cry or even laugh. Talking during the session and shifting to a more comfortable position is definitely allowed.

Policies

Sessions fill up quickly and are generally booked a month in advance. If you are having an urgent need for energy healing, contact Spirit of the Methow directly: heal@spiritofthemethow.com

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
